how i think
A little peek inside my brain, and how I bring my ideas to life.
Get Inspired
It all starts with a little spark of inspiration, and most importantly: what problem can I solve? Ideas come to me from walking down the street, watching a movie, or contemplating world/everyday issues that I’m passionate about.
2. Back it up
Research. Research. Research. This is the most important step, as an idea is just an idea until it can be backed up. Depending on the project type, I either conduct in-person market research, or I become the next Google detective.
3. Ground it
Once my idea is solidified and backed up, it’s time to make it feasible. This is my planning stage, where I write down and sketch out every single detail of my project scope. No matter how crazy or far-fetched my ideas seem, this step will sell it to you.
4. blast off
Headphones on. Volume up. It’s time to get to work. Before I collaborate with others, I send myself into another world of creativity consisting of me, my brain, and my laptop. This is the design/experimentation stage of my process, defined by trial and error.
5. execute
After extensive trial and error, endless hours of collaboration, and brutally honest feedback, it’s decision time. Every detail needs to be in check. The project is only complete once I love it. This is the final stage of bringing my ideas to life.
